Obreanna McReynolds and Dean Peterson are a husband-and-wife team of entrepreneurs based in Los Angeles, California.

They opened Burden of Proof in late 2024 to provide a curated, high-quality selection of non-alcoholic beers, wines, spirits, and mocktails. The business was born from their personal decision to stop drinking alcohol following the COVID-19 pandemic and a desire to make "sober curious" options more accessible and social.
