Chanté Bernard grew up watching her grandmother cook delicious meals and bake amazing desserts and biscuits from scratch. It wasn’t surprising that she would develop an affinity for baking at 12 years old.

Chanté comes from a family of many great cooks and bakers, and calls herself a California girl with Southern roots.  Chanté was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Her dad was born in Natchez, Mississippi, and her mom in Augusta, Georgia.
