Navarro Vineyards is a family operation that has been growing grapes, perfecting wine and producing non-alcoholic grape juices in Mendocino’s Anderson Valley since 1974. While most of their wine is sold directly out of their tasting room, Navarro has become an ambassador for this region to the rest of the world as its quaffable, friendly, award-winning wines have become recognizable labels on the shelves of premier wine purveyors.
Jim Klein
Jim Klein spends a lot of time walking the vines with Al and Ed, they both know exactly the fruit quality that Navarro expects and can adjust their farming practices to that end. Another reality we know well: to maximize quality from any particular vineyard site, the winemaker has to make wine from that site over several vintages.
