The Exchange Restaurant (Freehand LA)

Multi-Cultured Tastes and Ingredients

Freehand LA’s full service restaurant, The Exchange, pays homage to the 12-story vintage blade sign (the largest in LA) under which its entrance proudly sits. The menu explores the multi-cultural flavors of urban LA through an Israeli lens. It is accompanied by a natural wine list and a cocktail list that is meant to compliment the food.

The Exchange utilizes the freshest local ingredients and highest-quality produce available, including fresh fish, shellfish, choice meats and local produce.

Chef Narita Santos

Chef Narita Santos helms The Exchange restaurant at the Freehand Los Angeles in Downtown, curating a menu that blends Israeli, Californian, and Filipino influences. She reopened the, then, 19-month-closed venue in 2021 with a focus on vibrant, seasonal, and sustainable dishes. Her cuisine often merges Mediterranean flavors with Asian influences.
