Back in January 2025, Perlas was planning to open in Altadena until the wildfires forced a change of plans. A year later, this family-owned ice cream shop has opened its pastel pink doors in Montrose. The flavor lineup here is a unique mix of Filipino and Southeast Asian, with options like ube and strawberry matcha, plus fun riffs on classic desserts, including a banana foster ice cream with a Filipino rum swirl.
