Head Brewer, Turkel has a background in winemaking, which informs his balanced, methodical, and creative approach to brewing.

As Production Manager, he oversees the creation of a wide variety of styles, ranging from traditional Pilsners and Stouts to wine barrel-aged Saisons and Belgians.

He has been instrumental in the development of flagship beers that pay homage to Los Angeles history, such as the Bad Hombre Mexican Lager, Chavez Ravine Hazy IPA, and Aliso Ale.
