Chef Michael Gray’s culinary love began when he was around eight or nine, creating Southern comfort food in the kitchen with his grandmother. His love for the arts quickly unfolded and blossomed into a catering company that started while he was attending the prestigious California Culinary Academy of Le Cordon Bleu. In 2019, Chef Gray fulfilled his life-long dream with the launch of Fat Boys, an LA-based gourmet food truck, serving unique and innovative takes on old classics from burgers to good ‘ol Southern delights. But why a food truck and not go the traditional route? He says it’s all about that connection he remembers as a child.
