Owned and operated by partners and chefs Tongkamal “Joy” Yuon and Wedchayan “Deau” Arpapornnopparat, Holy Basil resides in the new up-and-coming food destination, Santee Passage. Focusing on Bangkok/Central Thai Street Food, you will find traditional stir-fried favorites like Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) and Pad See Ew along with more uncommonly found dishes in LA like Sai You (curry pork sausage). In addition, they have a monthly pop-up called YUM, which features a menu of intensely flavored dishes that are dressed and tossed in a sauce that is spicy, sweet and savory – similar to a salad.
